StoryVibe is a personal literary blog by Sora, hosted from Singapore. This notice describes how I handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
Data controller

Information collected
Contact form. Name, email, and message when you write to me. Consent checkbox required; it is not pre-ticked.
Cookies. A consent cookie stores your banner choice for six months. Optional analytics, if enabled, helps me see which chapters readers open — aggregated, not sold.
Hosting logs. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security. I do not merge logs with contact data for marketing.
Purpose
Data is used to respond to you, honour cookie choices, and maintain site security. I do not run a newsletter or mailing list from this form.
Retention
Emails kept while a conversation is active, then deleted or archived within a reasonable period. Cookie consent expires at six months. Hosting logs follow provider retention, typically under ninety days.
Disclosure
No sale of personal data. Processors include my email and hosting providers acting on instructions.
Your rights
Under PDPA you may request access, correction, or withdrawal of consent. Email [email protected]. I will verify identity where needed and respond promptly.
International transfers
Hosting or email services may process data outside Singapore with appropriate safeguards per provider policies.
Security
Reasonable measures protect data in transit (HTTPS) and in my mailbox. No system is perfect; notify me if you suspect misuse.
Updates
This page may change; the last updated date reflects the current version.

Unresolved concerns may be referred to the Personal Data Protection Commission at pdpc.gov.sg.
